Just saw Madea's Witness Protection

Ok. I'm a 32 year black male from Alabama. Now we got that out the way, I must say the film was not bad. It was overall funnier than Tyler Perry's earlier works. Eugene Levy and Doris Robert played their role well and Tyler Perry did a good job during those scenes.

It's different. It's something that will appeal to both blacks and whites. It will make 40 million or more during the opening week and have a rating of 6.0 or above mainly because (other than Brave), then isn't any family movies this week. It's really feels like a family movie for the most part. Kind of like House Guest, but flipped. It's hard to hate the movie. Easy to hate Madea. Hard to hate the movie. From the looks of it, everyone left the movie satisfied.

Off topic. It took me 30 to leave the movie theater. The Madea's Witness Protection was packed. We was leaving the 7 oclock showing and people was coming to the 9:40 showing. The movie was sold out during both times. I live in a city that's 75 percent white and 25 percent black and the movie was 50/50.
