Trailer Question

The trailer is very confusing for me. It does not show a significant number of clips of the cast. Marla Gibbs and John Amos apparently are main characters but we dont' see anythign with them in the trailer. Romeo is on the poster but he says NOTHING in the trailer. Its a whole lot of Madea (Tyler), Madea's Brother (Tyler) and Tyler as himself along Richards and Levy and the unknown girl who plays their daughter. Now if this movie was only about Tyler and the white members of the cast - that's fine. But other persons are in the movie and on the poster but not in the trailer. The trailer is not that funny to me so i'm wondering why he chose to use the clips he did in the trailer.
