Loved it too, i agree! Don't understand the hate... The movie is actually much smarter than one would think at first glance.

As for other movies, i think "Her" is very similar to this one in many aspects, they share similar themes, especially the idea of reaching a higher level of consciousness through technology and/or the limited and corrupted world understanding that inescapably comes with human condition.

Transcendence: 8/10
Her:9/10
