A group that kills and kidnaps people

...are the "good guys"? Wtf?

reply

There were no good guys.

I can accept moral ambiguity and no "good guys" but everyone sides with a random faction that has obviously murdered and kidnapped people?

Many posts on this board reflect the opposite - about how humanity just didn't understand Will and wrongly feared him and some even go as far as to compare Will to a "benevolent god" (see the "benevolent god" thread below).

If you mean "everyone" in the movie, Will had his supporters (once they were in the hive they didn't talk much).

You say there is no good guys...then who created the system that restored the earth? The water, air and soil?...I think it would only be a "good Person" to do that...not the killers, those who maim, and the exploiters.... Sorry your reaction is too brutish to even understand...

?
I'm talking about what we see in the movie.

In the movie, Will did not restore the earth, water, air and soil.
In the movie, if anyone removed all the junk Will tainted with his nanobots we don't see them in the movie and the ending suggests at least some of those nanobots are still out there.
