If Mark wanted to really get back with Cameron Diaz and kept calling her, why didn't he just turn up at her apartment?? He's been there because of the scene where Kate couldn't sit anywhere because it was where they had sex.

Maybe he was afraid she'd slam the door in his face. She was still angry. He probably thought it prudent to at least get an invite before going over.

Probably because he didn't actually care enough to pursue her that hard, and didn't need to, since he had another backup girlfriend.
