Lesiie Mann cannot make a good movie

The poor attempt at comedy was so irritating, I didn't get through the first hour. OMG!!! I am sooooo glad I did not pay to see this. The dvd was free at Red Box. Glad it was free! This sucks!!! Remember comedy people - less is more!

Totally agree!!!

She was awful from start to finish. Too over the top. Unfortunate because I loved her in some of her older films.

I agree. I saw it for free and even then I wanted to like her, a few of her jokes were funny but overall it's her voice. For me that voice is too whiny which is extremely irritating. Maybe if I could get past the voice I might be able to take anything she says seriously without casting her aside as just another unnecessary whiner.

Overacting at its finest.

I agree about the voice, nails on a blackboard. Hard to pay attention with the horrible voice in your ear. Is it real or does she exaggerate it?

She's an Orange County girl. There's a bit of an accent here.

She's too ugly to be in movies

I think all her movies are pretty good! This one is very enjoyable.

I couldn't stand her acting, nor her voice, nor her character. A caricature, period.

I thought she did an outstanding acting job. Annoying? shrill? Yes!That was the character and she was great at it.
Some of these commenter remind me of some people who saw Urban Cowboy and didn't want to see any more of his movies because he was such an *beep*

lots of haters on this board! WOW!
I think you all are missing the big picture here- she is type-cast for specifically the roles she plays in films. NOT meant to be serious roles, folks.
She only appears in off-beat comedies and let's not forget who her husband is! Her movies are raking in the big bucks. You will never see her in a drama nor will you see her in an Oscar winning performance. She is comedy. She plays the perfect ding bat and does it well. Get with the program everyone and cut the woman some slack.
