Franchise on the horizon?

Unless I've totally misunderstood something or misinterpreted the box office numbers, it can be said that Inside Out 2 is a huge financial hit. Will Disney/Pixar keep going to the well and make this a franchise, and if so, how long can they keep milking this idea?

I say this as someone who was really looking forward to seeing this movie, but I was left mostly disappointed. The sequel certainly doesn't "ruin" the original movie, but in spite of adding 4 new emotions, was a far less emotional, and far less magical movie. With big financial numbers, there will always be the temptation to endlessly churn out sequels, but where can they go from here?

The first obvious answer would be to watch Riley grow up and become an adult. The problem with that is being an animated movie series, a large part of the audience will be young kids. While other animated movies featuring older characters have introduced romance, there's really only so far you can go with it. I personally don't have a problem with that, but are young kids really going to be interested in Inside Out 7: Riley's Wedding?

The other possibility would be to have future installments explore the "headquarters" of another character (not Riley). The two movies have already shown us that everyone (even animals) have their own version of "headquarters", so there's a lot of places they could go with this. The tough part for the writers would be how they would make a full-time transition from Riley's "headquarters" to the "headquarters" of another character.

Would anyone on this board be interested in an Inside Out franchise?
