My problem with the film
What bothered me is that the character Mike Conlon isn't worth saving. He's a rat. He called the cops on his own father for saving his life.
Why are you going into freak-out mode?

It was clear that he despised his father for leaving them and killing loads of people. Is that not reason enough? Then he finds out his dad killed his nephew. Mike was a good guy and his father was evil. But he did save his life a couple of times. Perhaps it would have been more realistic if it was his dad who got him into the mess.
I would say my memory is not what it used to be. But I don't remember what my memory used to be.
Did you want them to spell it out for you on open captioning at the bottom of screen, break the fourth wall and explain it to you, sky write it for you, reach out of the screen and slap you with it, have one more scene than the half dozen already about it?
Jesus H Christ he hated him for abandoning his family, being a killer, and add he found out even killing his own gabor.
