Common was the worst hired professional killer ever

Had his targets dead to rights many times and failed to kill them. Had the element of surprise and still couldn't finish the job.

**** Spoilers for John Wick ****

Yeah. A pro (a true pro, like John Wick) wouldn't have gloated to Michael at the end before he was going to kill him.

As much as I wanted John Wick to stomp the bad guy's son to death like his dog was killed, he just shot him in the face and walked away. I thought it was very professional and realistic.

Even though he missed his mark-Common was a pretty good bad guy.

Common will play a villian a rival Assassin in John Wick 2.

Deleted Scenes - revelaed a little more into Common's charecter.

When he introduced (in the theatrical version) he walks out of a room thats full of red light.

In the deleted scenes - you find out that he is actually at some S&M strip club and was watching a group of girls spank each other. Now he wasn't doing anything perverse, just drinking some alcohol and watching them. I believe this hinted at how cold and sadistic he actually is. I wish they had developed him more. You also see Price get hsi weapon from the back of his car and it's stored in fancy case with NEON Lights (like in the trailer)
