Apparently but isn't it the "same ol' shootemup" over and over?
My question is with a friend of mine (he's almost 70) who is a retired professional but seems to gravitate toward Liam Neeson type films instead of more mature themes.
I was prompted to ask this question after being at his house where he seemed glued to this "on demand" offering. I asked him what movie he was watching and he said "I don't know but it's a really good movie."
He spends a fortune on "all the channels" (HBO, Showtime, pay per play, etc.) and most of the stuff he watches is just Hollywood junk aimed at adolescents. I get that's it's OK to have different tastes but I'm worried that this is along the lines of arrested development.
When he has watched a more "grown up" type of movie with me, he seems to drift off and starts playing with his laptop but the action flicks keep him glued to the set.
