Where is Ben Parker when we need him?

“With great power comes great responsibilities”

I know this is a romantic comedy but all of Tim's choices were rather selfish. It’s not like he was Spider-Man or anything, but his ability was still extraordinary. The “right” choice would have been to use his powers for good. He could have become a cop/detective and perhaps save hundreds if not thousands of lives using time travel, instead of just using it to get a girlfriend. He was a lawyer so I assume “justice” meant a lot to him.

How could he ever watch the news knowing he could have prevented a brutal murder or a massive car accident from happening?

This was a love story, but I think you've got a great idea for a new movie!

His father said " You can't kill Hitler or shag Helen of Troy". so I think it means the powers are somewhat limited as to what you can actually "change" in relation to other people's lives.
