Else Worlds Trailer
Oliver is Barry on another world and he looks so confused. Are other characters going to be swapping places with their counterparts as well?

shareIn the trailers I’ve seen, Supes is dressed all in black, so is Earth X part of this crossover, as it was in the last crossover? It’s gonna be hard to equal, let alone surpass, the previous crossover. Does anyone know if The Legends are in this one? I thought they were the lynchpin of the last one.
I hope it IS better than Crisis On Earth X. The CW really brought their A+ game on that one. It’s never leaving my DVR; but I’m concerned that the forthcoming crossover event may feel more like a lazy rehash instead of an effort-driven and inspired transcendence. I’m rooting for a transcendence. Please amaze and inspire us.
The Legends aren't a part of this one sadly.
share*snap* That’s the sound of my heart breaking.
Thank you for your reply.
No problem. The Legends are having a special episode to make up for the lack of they're appearance in the crossover. The whole episode sees the Legends dealing with alternate versions of themselves, should be entertaining. Like yours, my heart still breaks that they won't be in the crossover. Hopefully next year they go all out and have them all again.
shareForgive what may be a stupid question, but I haven’t read an actual comic magazine in a long time: is DC doing an actual printed series of illustrated Legends novels, or is this a concept that The CW cobbled together? If it’s an established print series, why isn’t a studio developing a Legends film franchise? Deadpool, a B- level character, did boffo at the box office. I’ll take The Legends over Deadpool any day. Of course, the film series would need to be recast, just as Grant Gustin isn’t playing The Flash in DC films. I’d keep the casting for Ray and Rory as is, but put Katheryn Winnick in Sara’s role, let Keanu reprise as Constanine, and so on.
shareNot a stupid question. I haven't read a comic in awhile myself. I don't think there is any Legends comics out right now, it would be cool to get a big budget movie with these characters though. Deadpool had the advantage of only being in comic form before the movie (Wolverine Origins doesn't count), so hype was bigger. I liked Deadpool, didn't love it, I think the sequel was better and had more to offer for me in regards to rewatchability.
If they started even talking about some of these characters from Legends getting solo movies (new casting, studio won't crossover) there would be hope for us getting the eventual Legends movie with all of the heroes. By the look of things, I think we are screwed and if we do get a Legends movie it won't be for many years.
What happened to Shipp's Barry Allen? They've been teasing for months about him being involved. I figured with the warnings building up to something he had a major role. He walks onto the battlefield and the Monitor snaps his fingers and we never see him again.
