A bit disgusted

I liked season 1. I like the action sequences, the setting, the characters, many of the dilemmas and the romances, etc..

But... one of the protagonists killing 4-year-old kids, stringing them up and others killing and eating cute baby lambs? I wasn't surprised by the events in question but was disappointed and again, disgusted. Is the rest of season 2 more of this? Cheap shock/horror tactics like that really aren't fun for me nor are they in any way educational...

Not saying the show is historically accurate. But a show about history showing a child sacrifice as common as this, is something you can relate to what actually happened in those period.

In action movie, as you expect action.
In romantic movie, as you expect romance.
In historical movie, expect This!
Animal cruelty, Mother in law letting the DIL get raped to birth a royal heir, Men Women and Children are all brutally butchered despite their sexuality, Getting death sentence for questioning the authority. These were all pretty common in those era.

How can it be educational if you don't want them to show you what these people back in the days can actually do? Education can't be laid upon lies just because we people of 21st century easily get offended at anything and everything.
