For the most part, I would guess not. Maybe a few.

I'm a True Detective fan, and I'm watching this primarily because I'm a Sevigny fan. Truth is, as a whole, it isn't very good. Viewers accustomed to the quality of True Detective will largely be underwhelmed.

This isn't the kind of world where you mop up everything.

The Writers and producers on this show the Following think Serial Killers are a new phenomenon. Thus the repackage the same tropes and do little give original take on it.

Hannibal and True Detective are sophisticated and willing to take chances.

Agreed. I was very disappointed by how 1990 this all felt. From the characters to the plots, eye-roll worthy situations (like the cops not being able to prove she killed an unarmed non-threatening man or her shooting a guy from a few feet away with an automatic weapon... without hitting the guy standing right behind him). It's all very sketchy and lacking quality. Direction was pretty sub-par as well.

Waste of acting talent.

They'll migrate here. Mainly just to tell you what intellectuals they are and how their show kicks your show's ass.
