The show will not be back

At least I don't think so.

If the show can't get ratings behind Bates Motel, then where are they going to put it?

A&E gave it one of the best lead ins on the network.

They pulled it because Bates was down last Monday in the ratings. So they're moving Bates back to 10 and most likely killing Those Who Kill.

I think it's a toss-up. I'm not holding my breath while I wait, but they may need to burn off the remaining completed episodes for contractual reasons. But it won't be a surprise if it doesn't return at all, either.

This isn't the kind of world where you mop up everything.

I wish it would just go to Netflix so we could stream the rest of the season. The Nielsen ratings system is outdated.

If they have 10 more episodes in the can, A&E would be foolish to not air them and try to recoup some of their investment. It's not like the network is bursting with original programming.
