Cop with an awful childhood that can't follow the rules, but never gets fired? #annoying

I am watching the first episode of this with a 2014 date but I know I have seen it before. When they found the girl in the coffin I knew what was gonna happen next. Schaffer I recognise but I dont recognise the female lead . Is this another rip off from a great Swedish or Danish series or am I having some sort of dejavu trip .

It's a remake of the original Danish series with the same name.

It's a remake. The creators of the Dutch original were financially compensated, therefore you cannot call it a "rip off."

All these shows are so predictable.

Honestly, that scene was straight out of 80's slasher movie.
