Those Who Kill vs Dexter

For people who've seen the Those Who Kill basic cable show, how do you compare it to a premium cable show like Dexter.

That depends. Dexter 1-4, or the suck-fest it later became?

Maybe Dexter's early years,perhaps???

I think so far it's on the level of season 5 which I consider the transition season between the awesome first and the underwhelming second half of the show. It's kind of a mixed bag but honestly I don't hate it. The exposition has been a little clumsy but if the episodes keep improving it might turn out to be a decent little miniseries. Coz there's not going to be a second season. That's for sure at this point. Hopefully they have an acceptable ending in mind for the final episode.

Is there any reason why TWK will only be a 1 season show, as that kind of kills my interest in it, as I haven't actually seen it yet and wanted to know how it compared to Dexter. Bates Hotel, I'm not interested in, although I haven't seen it either.
