Another procedural where the plot is resolved every episode is something I'll pass on, but this may be more than that. There may be an underlying plot arc, but can anyone who's seen the original tell me whether every episode will introduce a new villain and then be wrapped up in an hour or so? Thanks in advance, Will
If the opposite of Love is indifference, what's the opposite of Hate?
I'm fascinated by the main character and want to know all about her past. The profiler/consultant guy was sort of cool and the other cops were a bit more interesting than your usual donut eating wise guys and loud, cranky chief.
When she told the profiler/consultant guy "that wasn't the first time I was locked in a box" I thought for sure he'd say "and it wasn't the first time I had someone locked in a box." He was way too into it. Loved this pilot
Also, for the op... The opposite of hate is also indifference.
The original Danish show has 5 villains in 10 episodes. The American version will have 4-5 killers too, some of the cases will wrap up in an hour, the others in two or three.
After Ep 2, it's not doing anything for me so far. Maybe I've been spoiled by Cracker and True Detective but there seems to be nothing of substance here.
Supposedly very smart people doing stupid things to advance the plot is a hackneyed device which sets the alarm bells off to me.
I'll revisit this after the first season's finished, read the reviews on here and see whether I should persevere with it then, but right now I find it annoying.
Cheers, Will

So this was cancelled or was it flogged off to another channel? In either case it seems to have been put out of its misery. And let's face it, it was miserably bad. I get more enjoyment out of The Following because that's an execrable series but it knows it, so is faceslap central. Those Who Kill was just meh.
