you think they didn't release a Danish show on Region 1 dvd because they had an American remake on? How old are you? They didn't release it because they thought it would bomb and look, it did!

They didn't release it, you silly cow, because having the Danish series on the market before the U.S. series premiered would spoil the plot. It's the same reason there was no U.S. dvd release for The Killing, or The Bridge, and a lot of other European TV shows adapted for U.S. television. Hope that cleared things up for you, twinkie.
