i feel like if it weren't for the fact that the people who run the network have *beep* for brains, this show would be a phenomenal success.and now they moved it to lifetime, its as if they dont care if its successful or not, which is a shame because its a very intriguing story with some good acting. if only this show had been on fx or amc or even tnt

Because the people that run the network.. in this case Nancy Dubuc.. are not reluctant to accept the adulation, and sing the praises of some cheaply produced, scripted, staged, faked "Reality" POS when it receives millions and millions of extrapolated, estimated Nielsen TV Viewers....
...then when some professionally produced, staged, scripted Drama doesn't receive the same millions and millions of extrapolated estimated Nielsen TV Viewers... then the slimeball people that run the network.. in this case Nancy Dubuc.. must also accept the criticism for "their" failure... that's why.

ltra -- look at TLC. I used to enjoy its programming. Now, it's TFC -- "The Freak Channel".
What can I say. People would rather watch freaks than learn something. And the execs give them what they want.

ithi -- a show's quality and its popularity have often no correlation.
Look at all the quality shows that died an early death because of low ratings. And all the crap that survived for season after season because it appealed to the dregs of society.

Your right, those things are mega important,..I am watching it. It is very brave and except for some stupid contrived fight like scenes it is wel done.
. for nothing else the acting and the actors.are worth the 44 min...what a great bunch they assembled! I am interested in seeing the original danish version. It is danish right?
