The way I always hoped it would end

So just binge watched it in early 2024...never seen it before..I thought that is how it was going to end....loved it up until it went off the rails...killing Sam Loomis never happened...Mariam Crane showed up in different circumstances... Even Norma died a different way...once Norman entered the "Home" ..I thought it would take a direction that he was getting better...have some incidents that Norma and Dylan suspected Norman of commiting, or some close calls where Norman lost it for a quick minute..So, yea, I thought he would get out of the facility, run the Motel, then when Norma got married, that would send him off the rails( which it kind of did)but they both needed to die ( Norma and the husband, then have Norman stuff the body, put her in the window, and live life like she was there..then one day Mariam shoes up and triggers everything....
