Just finished watching it, I hope I get the conclusion right

The upper class citizens get to basically kill off the middle and lower class people because it is the only time where murder is legal.

Why wasn't rape shown in that credit opening? I saw a lot of brutal murder but I was expecting to see someone being gang raped or just raped then murder.

The teenagers were stupid. That's it for them.

I wondered if it was a film with some segregation topic cause here is this high class white family getting ready to ride out the worst night in the country they even debated about helping the homeless BLACK man till they realizes "They are better then that"


Am I missing anything else? Please help me understand this. OH I did love it, makes me glad I don't vote.
