Raped her or killed her?

I'm shock to read phrases like "he is guilty of rap but not killing her"
If Hannah were your daughter would it really make a difference sons of bitch? They all should be sent to the death row not just Daniel. Trey, Chris, George etc... All bastards

reply

"Not just Daniel?" But Daniel didn't rape her -- that was established in the pilot episode.

As for the rest, you're advocating revenge, not justice. Short term satisfaction at best. It just causes more pain. As per Bobby Dean's subplot.

I agree with you, capital penalty shouldn't exist. I really wanted to say that is quite disturbing that in the show while they are discussing between who "Raped" Hanna and who killed her as in the first case was just a minor thing to do to a human being. It is like, hey guys don't look at me I just Raped her!!!! This what I don't like, the way it has been presented was not fair to me, that's all.

Where, exactly, did they - whoever they may be - imply that rape was just a minor thing?

sondra "who would admit to sex with a 16 year old girl consensual or otherwise"
they never trivialized the rape,
Trey also remains adamant that he never raped her because he had been getting her since she was 14, said it was only Country club chris who she didn't want,
chris nelms will be charged with rape, as he confessed and his blood can be tied to the crime DNA wise,

reply

Nelms won't be charged with the rape because the statute of limitations has run out.

That's why Jon Stern was skeptical of the idea Trey killed George over concern he'd spill about the rape. (This was of course when Trey was still suspected of killing George.) Jon figured it was more likely motivated because George knew about a crime that did NOT have a limitation - i.e., murder.
