As has been pointed out elsewhere, this is a faithful adaptation of Ethel Lina White's novel The Wheel Spins, on which Hitchcock's film The Lady Vanishes was based. Charters and Caldicott were an invention of the film and didn't appear in the novel.

Why call it the lady vanishes? Why not The wheel spins?

Or another name if it's the directors own take on the book?

I thought the two elderly British ladies were a good substitute for the cricket lovers in this one. Good to see Stephanie Cole and friend enjoying themselves.
