is so damn cheap. Playing online, people just seem to easily abuse her extremely fast and accurate vertical grab move is super unbalanced and her dodge and batarang are also very fast. She's right up there with Deathstroke, Superman, and Aquman for the most abused characters online. Anyone disagree?

I have to agree. I found myself having to be more on guard because people like to abuse her teleport. I mean did they really need to make that useable in the air as well?
The ironic thing about this is that when she was announced people complained about them adding another Batman character and how much more requested other characters were and yet I've ran into her online far more than Lobo. Whom actually was pretty requested.

The reason for that, aside from Batgirl being an easier win due to her cheapness, is also the fact that hardcore DC fans who would know Lobo may be the most vocal
fans, but they are far from the majority of players. A more casual DC fan, someone who really only knows the characters from cartoons and movies, would always prefer Batgirl, because they know her better.
If i'm not mistaken, it sounds to me as if she's voiced by the same voice actress that voiced Oracle in the Arkham games, which is a very cool little touch. She is a cheap character to play against online, but she's also a welcome addition to the roster and imo a better character than Lobo in almost every way.

That and I think it's because people like her playstyle than actual character. People have complained that they should have put in another Batman character instead. Black Adam is also seen a lot online and I'm sure it's because of his playstyle than actual character. Black Adam hasn't been exposed that much outside the comics, so the average person didn't know who he was beforehand.
This stuff also happened in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Characters such as Dormammu, Spencer, Taskmaster, Hawkeye, and Nova all got complaints about getting in over more well known characters and yet they became some of the more popular characters in the game. They were seen online more than more well known characters such as Captain America(before Ultimate came out) Iron Man, Thor, Spider-man, Chun-Li, and Chris.

This is nothing, wait until Tuesday on July 2nd when General Zod is released via DLC. He will most definitely be picked a lot online within the first few weeks or months of coming out.
far as cheap game play goes, its always been there so the best suggestion to overcome this is to soldier through and learn the game much better so you don't get caught by cheap tactics by other players and avoid altogether certain situations that'll land you into cheap scenarios you can't escape from by gamers who play the game so ruthlessly and give you no quarter (i.e.; easiness).
