The songs are not instantly accessible as Let it Go or Part of Your World. But that's what makes Sondheim brilliant, the complexity and poignancy and marriage of music to lyric.

Agreed. The music is awsome. You have to put in a little effort at understanding the lyrics. The people who gave 1 stars was just lazy at understanding everything.
