Veterans everywhere are speaking out in support of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision to not stand for the national anthem.

Kaepernick first refused to stand for the national anthem during a preseason NFL game against the Green Bay Packers. After the game, he told reporters that he refused to “stand to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people,” saying police officers were “getting away with murder.” Some conservative fans responded by burning Kaepernick’s jersey, and his actions have made him the target of racist commentators.

However, Kaepernick’s refusal to respect the national anthem has garnered the respect of military veterans everywhere. The hashtag #VeteransforKaepernick has gone viral on Twitter,

Trump would employ Blacks; and support them as Armed Forces soldiers in a stable career as well. End political correctness. Promote jobs. End sending auto jobs to Mexico. Wake up. Violence is due to a loss of prosperity. Jobs will continue to be lost under a Leftist support of NAFTA and TPP. The enemy is NAFTA, the TPP, the Globalists, the Communists, and authoritarian croney capitalists. Vote Trump. Clear out the illegal immigrants that steal Social Security Numbers from USA citizens then wreck their credit rating as they steal jobs from Americans. Mr K is a complainer, not a positive thinking change maker. He could at least vote Trump to have auto jobs returned to unemployed Blacks in Detroit.
