It's the vehicular equivalent of those stupid scenes where the madly running victim can never shake the purposefully strolling bad guy. Or when the the ordinary cop car somehow accelerates as fast as from the hot motorcycle (never happens). And Hawke doesn't even seem to know how to do a double downshift with a heel/toe. Plus I love how all those exterior cameras survive all the crashes and scrapes. What drek.

Just caught the stupid ending now and I still laugh at how the GT500 SS struggled to keep up with a Mercedes M-Class SUV!
Honest question, it happens in all types of movies, but when you are in a car being chased by a motorcycle, when do they never just ram the bikes of the road, hit the breaks hard and have them run into the back? I mean I ride a bike, and I know if a car hits me at all I am toast.
