Heh, I came here to ask the same question

Hmm, unfortunately a negative review from Variety:

Apparently it's an independent film, but seems to be on Amazon:

In spite of the negative reviews I will still watch it. But I will wait for a free option. Not going to fork over money for it.

reply

Yep, I'm with you. Tend to watch any Austen-related show that comes out. Should make a list of them on IMDb. :)

reply

If you make one, send me the link!

:) Here you go:

How many have you seen?
I've got 10.

Nice list. There are some titles missing, such as Clueless, and a number of Hallmark Channel cheese-fests (some are rather sweet). IMDB is a frustrating platform for the list, though, because too many JA adaptations have been relegated to the status of episode in various long-running drama series, such as Stage Two (Northanger Abbey) and Masterpiece Theatre (PP80, SS84, etc.). Wishbone has 2 JA adaptations (PP and NA). Also missing: Death Comes to Pemberley, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Twelve Men of Christmas, The Jane Austen Book Club, Austenland, Lost in Austen.

I’ve seen at least 32, but I suspect more because I didn’t take a full accounting. Counting my JA DVDs would be a good place to start (30).

Edit
Just remembered there are lots of tv sketch comedy parodies, too, such as Mad Tv’s Larry Flynt inspired “Jane Austen Tea & A” sketch.

Maybe I should just make a comprehensive list and post it on the Jane Austen page here on Movie Chat. I’ll work on it tomorrow. 🙂
