What did you think of this movie? *spoilers*

It was fun at first to see them recap some of the anime but it feels like they recapped so much that it no longer feels like a proper sequel. The "new" parts were quite bland. I wouldn't have minded this if it hadn't been hyped up as a sequel.

I liked the message that sometimes our dreams change and people drift apart but I was sad to see them give the film a happy ending in the last 5 minutes. I guess Seiji achieved his dream but it feels like Shizuku is probably never going to achieve hers. Does she even want to be a writer? Or just wanted something that could compare with Seiji's cello talent?

The cinematography was nice at least.
