There is something about it that me feel like i am snooping..lol.. like I'm watching without permission...love the style and the basic way it is presented.

Got a tip off about this show, else I may never have found it. It's utterly charming and addictive. The characters are spot on. Half way through s2 and I only started at the weekend. Thanks Amazon Prime. Totally getting my money's worth.

I have Amazon Prime and didn't (that I remember) hear it was on it. I have been saving all the episodes on my DVR.,,lol
The new season is beginning soon on Pivot, for American viewers, but for some reason,it isnt, with direst tv at least,in HD ???

There is something very special about this honest way this is done. Absolutely no pretense. That is rare, maybe even never seen before. I can't think of an example where stories aren't contrived and full of pretense, which is how sitcoms are done,...but this is nearly mesmerizing in how refreshing it is.

Well, I'm in the UK and all 3 seasons are on there, free to watch for Prime subscribers. Yay!! I really hope they will get the new season immediately too, but that's probably wishful thinking.

SPOILER ALERT⬇️

It's wonderfully real. I was really into Looking (also ultra-real) and this show was recommended to me on a forum by another Looking fan, so clearly there must be some common ground between them. I'm certainly very glad this one didn't get canned after 2 seasons else we might never have experienced Josh and Arnold finally getting down to it ;-) That was some of the cutest, but sexiest sex I've ever seen on TV. 11/10

The US aired all three seasons on a channel called Pivot here. It is an ABC affiliate

I have seasons 2&3 on my DVR. I never saw the first season but I saw a 5 min or so "last year on..." Amazon PRIME in the US has all three, but they cost $1.99 an episode (boy,I hate that elementary scam all corps use, pretending $1.99 isn't $2.00',...lol)
Anyway, they have it ,but it isn't part of prime,,in the US anyway...they make it look that way. You have to be careful

Netflix doesn't carry it ...either does Acorn,Google Play wants $3.00 an episode. I just saw that Hulu has seasons 1&2.

Amazon say to get ready for season three to begin, but I already saw it as I have said, They make it sound like season 3 is next up?? The Australian release, date for season 4' is November 9th,on the ABC channel there,

http://www.takepart.com/pivot/please-like-me....this link says seasons 1&2are on Hulu and that season 4 will aired on Pivot in America November 10/2016 ????

My guide won't let me go into the future that far to confirm. I worry it is only Australia, but I'm not sure,..lol. I'm almost certain I've seen ads for it on Pivot as well.

None of this helps you if your in Britain, regarding the season 4 release... I Intended when I began, to be helpful, but I've failed,,sorry..,lol.

It is an international success,so maybe it will be released there too in November. There is a site that allows you to get an alert for when it airs. I googled when it might air in Britain and got "Last Tango in Halifax". Lol...but it tried...

Season three was really good. The people and stores are so human. And it is so different I feel like I'm looking thru a window spying ..lol..
Always hard to be done with a season for something you really like. Especially when you're not sure when the next fix is, lol...

Yep, love a bit of voyeur TV. Why the hell aren't more people talking about this show?!?

It is an international success, but it is carried by an ABC affiliate,Pivot, which is obscure and on direct tv,only offered in SD. Only thing I can think of. Once, however, with streaming, things can catch on,because everyone can watch whenever., I FB it a lot. You'd think it would be more popular...already 4 th year.
Longest running Aussie sitcom in their history!

reply

It's not Aus's longest running sitcom, that would be Hey Dad at 14 seasons over eight years.

I read this in a ABC site when I posted it. I thought four years was awfully short...thanx.
