She sometimes has live chats on her Facebook page. Many people have asked if she gets paid for appearing on the show, but she said she has a contract and they don't allow her to speak about those things. She would only say you really have to want to do it for your health and not the money.

It's kind of strange that TLC puts a gag order on them that they can't talk about money or who pays for the surgery, and one of the things I'm always curious about is how do so many of them live in Houston for a year or two when they never mention them having a job, or the spouse or live-in working. Perhaps they do but for whatever reason they don't mention it because someone on YouTube that knows Christina's boyfriend, Shane, said that he works but they never said that on the show.
