Is she auditioning for the new season of My 600 Lb Life? Ive never seen them focus so much on a show participants family member. Charly is an example of what your kids eating habits turn into when mom and dad stuff their faces like food is going out of style.
Well I mentioned "dad" too because I didn't want to solely blame the mom because I don't know the family sitch but Charly definitely needs to go on a diet. You'd think her mom's hell would be enough. I know how hard it is to resist temptation, but you gotta start somewhere even if that means baking your chicken instead of frying it. Baby steps
In the first episode, Charly was eating healthy no carb meals in the hospital with her mom Charity. She said she wanted to support her mom by eating the same healthy meals.
Then Charity says in her voice over Charly doesn't want to be told what to do. Well Charly has no problem asking mommy for popsicle money like my 9 year old but yet she doesn't want to be told what to do?
Her fiancé is a weirdo. What's he even doing there? Free room and board? I doubt they have a romantic relationship or even a decent friendship to constitute an engagement.
It was really sad watching her get bigger and bigger over time. Such a shame that she couldn't learn from her mom's mistakes. Her mom went through so much, and still is. She is headed down the same exact path.
But at the end of the episode, when they both got weighed, I believe she had lost 14 pounds. So she was TRYING. Apparently, she'd gone up to just under 400 pounds, then had a wake-up call.
I was impressed with Dr Now in this episode specifically because he DID address a family member's weight problem. He almost never does that, other than a passing remark like, "you're overweight, too" (referring to the patient's spouse).
As for Charity's "fiance"...what can I say? He looked MUCH heavier than in the original episode. But aside from that, I was shocked to see he was still around! Now that he isn't wiping Charity's ass (after she poops in the living room), what DOES he do? There must still be financial incentives, but since he's clearly not her caretaker any more, that money must be gone.
Charity's fiancé is a chubby chaser. Someone said earlier, the fiancé is getting it on with the daughter, Charly. Could be why she's gained so much weight. He's feeding her too
Your last sentence lol. I hope that isn't true. But it's a shame that these kids watch these behaviors growing up and this is what their eating habits become. Same thing with Paula's daughter. That kid is the size of a full grown woman. Kinda hard to teach a kid at 13 to eat healthy when they ate like crap by watching you eat like crap all their life. It's a shame. Nobody watched my eating habits growing up so I ended up a junk food person. I am trying to do the opposite with my son by teaching him that these are sometimes food but the majority of his diet should be pretty healthy and average
I just watched this episode for the first time. Initially I thought the fiance was her son but then it was explained. I don't even begin to understand that relationship and it seems like something is wrong with him. I don't know. The daughter is annoying because she has a serious weight problem too and doesn't seem to acknowledge it. It's difficult to understand how people can totally ignore their health. And what do they do all day? Maybe if someone picked up a hobby they urge to eat all day would diminish.
