shareI agree with everything said here. What a sad episode. I don't know how you can grow up well adjusted around that dysfunction. Neiko did sound like an insightful kid when he was talking to the cameras, so I hope he makes it without turning into his "mother". Poor kid.

shareInteresting that when the mom abandoned Nico, he lived with his great grandparents not with the grandparents in this episode. Wonder why that was? Did the grandparents have drug/alcohol/crime situation that made them unfit?

It was commented on the show tonight that he lived with his great grandparents first, then he went to live with his grandparents.
