I thought the same. I recorded the show so at the end I even started it over again to specifically do a comparison and it really does seem like she put more weight on. I'm pretty surprised by that because she did mention she had already had the bypass op done and had lost a lot of weight but then implied that Doug was largely to blame for why she was putting it all back on. By the middle of the show when it looked like Doug was finally getting serious about losing I was happy for them both because I figured she too would then lose much of the weight she had put on. Instead she seems to go up while Doug goes down! (If that's true, who's sneaking the food now?!?!)

When they first started dieting she said she had gained weight with the twins and would like to lose it too, but by the end of the show it looked like she had packed a few pounds on. Doug said one thing at the end of this show that I thought was very important. He said, 'we now all sit at the dining room table for dinner, like a family and Cooper is now learning how to eat proper food'. That alone is a good start. share
I did wonder if the twins were actually his because he was probably 600lbs when she got pregnant. My first thought was she became frustrated with him not being able to work and barely able to get out of bed, so she had an affair with someone, but told Doug the twins were his.

Doug got his self-respect and motivation (not just to lose weight but to work and live life) back. They seemed like a pretty happy family by the end.

shareWhat was nice to see with Doug, that you don't see with the women, is that once he got down to 500 lbs or so, he was very mobile and active. That's still really big, but he was really feeling good and moving almost normally.
sharepatstar, Im watching the enhanced version now and the caption said that years after the wife's weight loss surgery, her gastric band eroded into her stomach and had to be removed in an emergency procedure. I suppose she has gone back to her bad habits
