I believe this is the first family on this show that doesn't enable the person to over eat. It's nice to see a different dynamic, although I do think her sister is a giant see you next Tuesday. There is a happy medium between enabling and completely berating someone.
Well it looks like she burned all bridges with her sister and then she tried to make her brother feel guilty (despite him playing no part in her weighting 600+ lbs) ... So I'm not surprised that she's all alone.

If her sister had enough of Erica, then she shouldn't have been on the show. I can understand if she was done with her, but to say she was an embarrassment because of the way she looked and to treat her so badly was just cruel. I would have told her to go "f" herself. She wasn't exactly thin and her personality made her downright ugly. Screw her.
From what I could tell, Molly didn't want to have anything to do with her. But Erica admitted that she continued to constantly call her until Molly agreed to help her.
I don't think that Molly treated Erica badly at all. Erica was treated exactly like she was supposed to be treated. Her sister was honest, straight to the point and didn't call for excuses.

Karma-For-You, I agree with you. I thought Molly was cruel to Erica, all the comments & judgements she made on Erica. Big difference between enabling, and thinking you're better than your own sister and being a huge bitch to her to probably feel better about herself. She had zero compassion or empathy for her own sister and what all she'd been thru, and only reluctantly did the bare minimum to help her. It's amazing Erica was able to do any of this at all, when a lot of her family said how they didn't believe in her, and reminding her that they didn't do this to her; she did. Molly made herself look very ugly indeed. At least Jessie seemed like she genuinely cared about her aunt, since she was the only one that was in her life until the tv cameras showed up...

Agreed! I am finding it EXTREMELY hard to muster any sympathy for Erica...esp when she says things like "it's so unfair that everybody else gets to eat whatever they want" (because she sees this in commercials on the television. How idiotic can a person be???)
