"No vegetables"
Huh? What? Triple meat, triple cheese, triple bacon, NO vegetables? Why the hell not?

shareDon't forget to get a large size
shareThe person running the drive thru window probably thought it was odd, then saw Doug and immediately understood. He/she probably thought to themselves, "That guy hasn't eaten a vegetable in 30 years."
Time wounds all heels.
What vegetables? The lettuce, tomato and onion typically on a fast food sandwich? ( I didn't see the episode)? I think of those items as a topping, not a side of vegetables, don't most people?
shareI agree with you. The toppings on a sandwich don't even add up to a serving of veggies.
Still, why not get them?
shareNo, I didn't say that one shouldn't get them. Quite the contrary, one should eat as many vegetables as possible. They are filling and have fiber. It's just that these 600# folks don't ever seem to eat a full serving of veggies, unless it is smothered in butter and/or high calorie salad dressing, or other fattening stuff.
shareIf you say "no tomatoes" "no onions" etc they have to make it specially for you and it's fresher.
I do it all the time. I hate onions on my burgers and when I say "no onions" it's always 10 times fresher and hotter than when I don't say anything at all.
