I hope the former IMDB people I like are here!
I look forward to restarting our conversations.

shareI am very disappointed that IMDb got rid of the message boards. The only reason I know of this website is because someone posted on IMDb about this website a few days ago. Although this is a wonderful replacement, it will never be the same as what IMDb had. With that said, I hope this website takes off just like the message boards on IMDb did. If it does, it will take a long time.
shareMe too. I think they'll be surprised to see their site traffic drop immensely. Everyone I knew who visited IMDb, did so for the boards.
shareExactly!!! That was the best part of the site.
There is another site that is pretty decent.

Im currently watching Michael's story. So far he looks like a jerk
Yeah, I mostly use themoviedb site. I only watched the first 20 minutes of Michaels episode and it was boring so I turned it to the ABC shows.
shareHello! Glad to see some have found this site. I already miss the boards, it was my first stop after every thing I watched. Shows like this I miss reading about most of all.
shareLike another poster said, themoviedb.org is another option but the one thing moviechat has going for it is that that have been proactive in scrapping imdb's comments before it was shut down, but it seems that they didn't get them all.
For example, I have just checked the 'Predestination' moviechat comment section:
https://www.moviechat.org/movies/tt2397535
and that has been scrapped but this shows comment section is empty.
I hope imdb goes the way of Digg and whatever pin headed bean counter that was responsible for green lighting the comment sections closure gets fired.
They have now moved all the old threads from 'My 600lb Life' IMDb boards to this site, I see.

I haven't been able to get it to work in my browser, but I have replied to the author and will hopefully be able to get if working
I use the reddit site also under 'My 600 lb Life.'
I was going on previously.forum. tv, or whatever it's called, but my gosh the moderator on the 600 lb Life page. One of my posts was deleted because they said I used an offensive word, which wasn't offensive unless you're ignorant of the meaning. Then he, or she, didn't like that I related a story about someone I knew and I said she (a transgender) looked like a 6'3" man in drag, so it took her two years to find a job. It got deleted for that comment because I was told I was being disrespectful for saying that, even though that's what happened in her case when she started applying for job. I never go on that site anymore.
