"Gee, Mom, I didn't know this new life would require killing people"

Poor Paige. Now instead of worrying about whether she'll have to sleep with a target in order to get information from them, she'll have to consider killing one, too.

Well, at least now Elizabeth can give her a proper lesson in how to wash blood from your face and hair.

I find the whole indoctrination of Paige kind of weird and it doesn't seem to fit in.

Speaking of hair, does anyone else find it kind of annoying the way the costume and makeup people constantly pose Elizabeth's hair? Okay, yes, we all see that Keri has beautiful hair, but hair doesn't just naturally fall over your shoulder in one big chunk of perfect curls.

It is a bit jarring to see Paige this way, but if you try and keep in mind that 3 YEARS are supposed to have passed since the end of season 5, it makes it more plausible.

As for Liz's hair...the only thing I find a little hard to swallow is that for a secret agent who has to keep using undercover disguises that require wearing a LOT of different wigs, it would be more probable that she'd keep her normal hair short to make donning them easier. But of course we all know what happened the last time Keri Russell cut her hair...

hoosiergirl: I have long curly hair...and while it may just seem posed (it kind of is) to have it cascading down one side it is the easiest way to comb and style long hair...as it's difficult to twist around to the middle of ones back and comb and style it there.

I find the whole thing with Paige mostly jarring as Elizabeth especially has a blind spot in grooming her own child to a life she knows is difficult and dangerous and insures she will not be very happy ..I suppose Elizabeth truly believes it will be fulfilling for Paige as she conveniently forgets about all the unnecessary deaths they've caused, the horrible life that they had before coming to America, all the strangers they got to screw before snuffing them out, the friends they've deceived and betrayed and the constant danger of being killed or discovered.

It's about time Paige began to see that it's not all lollipops and saintly goodness...it's not hippies putting flowers in the barrels of guns or relief workers feeding the hungry or bringing medicine to the sick. It's not peace and love. It's nasty and brutal and soul destroying. Phillip should know this and not want it for his child.
