OK so I noticed one in the season finale, in the Soviet Union oddly. Every scene seems to be at night or during an overcast winter sky.

shareIt does seem to usually film in fall-winter. Summer in DC is miserable and sticky, so maybe they try to avoid it? Although I don't know if it's actually filmed there aside from establishing shots.
shareThis is subliminal ... the tone down all the colors, and remove any red tones. This show is hard to binge watch because it is so visually depressing. Hollywood does this in practically all TV or movies that feature the Eastern block countries to where it is a mental association for most Americans now.
BUT, oddly enough after Martha leaves her life and the FBI agents enter her apartment there are some bright colors, and then also some outside scenes in the daylight.
