Keri Russell's hair
I'm really getting sick of the side swoop style she has. Does it always have to be swooped to the left side? I guess she is NEVER going back to her curly hair.

shareBeautiful woman. Great actress. Plays the character to perfection.
shareI prefer her hair straight.
shareI grew up in the 80s, but I don't remember girls wearing that style. So I'm waiting for Elizabeth to get with the times and get big, teased, AquaNet Hair with a poof ball in front and flared out wings on the side. While there at it, hopefully they'll drown her lids in blue eye shadow and square out her shoulders with uber-thick shoulder pads in all her blouses.
Carl Grimes will one day rule the world!

True. I remember the first half of the '60s very well, and they looked pretty much the same as the '50s.
shareHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! So true!!!
Sorry, I know this is an old thread, but I love it!
I find it funny how she really looks that certain decade when she is undercover, using wigs and big sunglasses, but when she is herself, she is very 2016, we can almost think the story is about these days and not the 80s. But it doesn't matter since Keri and Matthew are awesome actors! :)
shareThe curly hair was fine for Felicity, but Russell is in her 40s and sleek hair suits her better. I don't mind the swoop at all, especially since she so often wears wigs that do not flatter her (and wouldn't flatter any woman).
shareIf she as a spy had curly hair, it would be very difficult for her to put on wigs. But she should use a curly wig just once.
Now, most of the show is stylized 80´s- as many other tv shows or movies do nowadays. Just take a look at the clothes. Sometimes they forget the´re set up in the eighties. Although, to be fair, 80´s were kind of awful, you don´t need to do exact copies but just take what you like of it. More like retro.
It's also kinda weird that she always wears that same look on red carpets and other public appearances. Never anything else. I find this hairstyle also kinda odd, because stuff like this never stays in place unless you use a whole bottle of hairspray, and requires a lot of fixes throughout the day, which I just can't see a working mom and spy doing.
shareI agree. I think people got off track on this thread, or at least for me. It's not about sleek vs. curly or big vs. not big enough ... it's that in every single EP when she's not wearing a wig, all of her hair is placed over her shoulder on one side. Hair cannot stay that way constantly (I know, long hair my whole life). Not sure if they are trying to distinguish between Elizabeth and her disguises or not, but if they are, it's not helping and I, too, find it annoying since it's so artificial.
