Underrated.

For us 90s kids, it was pretty friggin' hilarious to see Snoop go from some young punk rapper (with a questionable history) to being a pop culture phenomenon, to a washed-up granddad... :-P
That's friggin' GOLD, man.
When I started watching this, I was thinkin', is this gonna be a super straight-faced Snoop acting like a normal dad? Or is this gonna be D-O-G-G? :-P I was glad it was a mix of both, because I couldn't imagine him pretending to be a "normal dad" who doesn't swear once every 5 seconds or so :-P
I thought the little substories, about each one of the kids, was effective at getting us to "care" about them as characters.
Obviously it followed a rather well-used trope of a bumbling young sports team needing just the right person to turn them into shape... But again, and I can't stress this enough, it's SNOOP MF*G DOG! :-P I don't care if it's unbelievable... It's D-O-G-G. He can act however he wants and I will love it. :-P
