It seemed the perfect matchup with him and Benedict. Still seems an ideal film just disappointed that he won't be starring in it.

Michael Shannon is an extraordinary actor so I'm sure he will deliver.

I'd take Shannon over Jake G any day of the week. Shannon is a much more diverse actor, whereas Gyllenhaal gets cast into brooding roles almost constantly.
