Asperger's syndrome I am guessing or some similar form of autism?

I hope the movie elaborates on that, I suffer from that condition though I am very different from movie characters who supposedly also do. I do not think hollywood really understands it.

I've seen two trailers and I'm already sick of the finger blowing.

If we all liked the same movie, there would only be one movie!

That's exactly what made me interested in this movie! I have AS too so I'm hoping they at least acknowledge some type of diagnosis in that spectrum in relation to Ben's character instead of just saying he is "gifted". Movies do that to imply such a thing but rarely does any movie really say what a character has in that regard...

He in the preview admits to his girlfriend (Anna Kendrick) that he WANTS to be able to relate to people but cannot. I like stories that have a duality where a hero excels in some areas but is horribly handicapped in others. IN this he is very intelligent and has some amazing abilities but is inept socially and has mental problems. It kind of reminds me of DAREDEVIL (in that he is blind but compensates with his other abilities).

After watching some interviews (From the current press tour) Affleck says he enjoyed exploring that aspect. An interviewer also mentioned it was one of his favorite parts of the film.

Fate deals the cards, but we have to play them. I demand a reshuffle.
