Loved the scene where the girl gives him the puzzle piece

Most moving scene in the movie

The "moving scene" was the two men at Dana's apartment with a crate and a sack-trolley.

That, and scene where:

Dana discovers what UPS brought...;
that and the other sequences shown with the song at the end;
when he leaves, looking back at her on the couch;
when his father is shot at the funeral parlor;
Francis finally getting through to him on how to recognize and covey emotion;
the boy's face lights up when Justine talks to him through the computer;
his father comforting him when his mother leaves;
Chris saves the farmer couple's finances, and then their lives;
Dana clobbers the killer's arm with the toilet tank lid; (no wait, that was funny...likewise when Chris shoots Blackburn. Guess I need to do a separate thread on the humor when the DVD comes out, on Tues.)

Up for grabs, were the cantaloupes with the faces on them, exploding, moving or funny?

"he saves the farms lives" ...
If it had not been for him, they would not have been in danger in the first place ...
From what I recall, he leaves them with a dead man and a bunch of stuff broken ...
I see from your other posts you really liked this movie...
I am glad you did.
I found it a little bit formulaic: pieces from Rain man and A Beautiful Mind mixed with Batman.
Sorry.

I thought Justine (the girl @movie's end) was 17! Only one of the main characters said she was thirty (yes, I know, special w/certain handicaps or whatever look younger but..)

Yes, that scene had me. And the end scene where we find out that Christian and the girl has stayed in contact over the years and he bought her the computer. Lovely.

Did you catch the bigger part of the reason for that scene?

She was the Robin to his Autistic Batman.

Yes, I eventually figured it out after reading blogs and Wikipedia. It was an interesting twist.

I was covering my emotion with a lame joke. It's a boy thing. My Dad said I'd grow out of it, but 50 years on ; I suspect he may be wrong.

And the scene showing that she still has that Ali puzzle he put together (upside-down) framed and hanging on her wall.
