Similiarty to Joy and Walt's own Oswald fiasco

As I similiarly mention on the "Joy" (2015) board, this, Disney's own Oswald cartoon business, and Joy Mangano going up against own company, as well as John Kricfalusi vs Nickelodeon, and others have both similiarities and differences,.

In this case, it's a case of the creator "losing"-quotes due to the Australian brain and writer behind Mary Poppins making money, but she really went up against a big company but SOLD THE RIGHTS to it, so with all due respect to KristenStewartForever or whoever she's called, DIsney owned the rights...that's THE difference to the current David O.Russell collaboration with Jennifer Lawrence in Joy, another case of a creator who had to fight with a company, only she made up with the copmpany (if at least the real woman's appearance on QVC shows..)

And Disney, to start it all, in 1927 lost his cartoon rabbit, "Oswald" to Universal through a similiar ownership deal (but much more recently the Disney comapny got the rabbit back).

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.

Actually Disney's loss of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit wasn't quite the same as Disney was not allowed to negotiate to retain ownership because he never actually owned the character despite it being his and Ub Iwerk's creation. At least Travers could choose who she did or did not sign over ownership to. Walt never had that option with Oswald, therefore making what happened to him immeasurably worse. Oh, well. Worked out fine in the end as it forced him and Ub to come up with another character and boy. Did they ever! Mickey Mouse made Oswald look like a financial bum.
