Don't mind admitting it...
...but I was in shreds when PL was crying at the premiere.
I'm staggered she and Farrell didn't receive Oscar nods.

I teared up at this point but didn't actually cry. I cried when she starts dancing to "let's go fly a kite" not sure why, it just makes me so happy. Also surprised they didn't get anything for this movie, some amazing scenes and actors!
shareOh I cried like a baby. I loved the film and for some reason it made more sense watching this. Mary poppins is my fav childhood film.
shareI was choked up through out a lot of the movie. The happy and sad part of her and her father but yes, seeing PL crying at the premiere brought me to an equal amount of crying that she was doing.
shareI was tearing up as well. It's when she's watching the scene with Bert, Jane and Michael and Bert is telling them how their father is a good man who loves them.
I don't tend to cry at sad moments, it's the emotional catharsis that sets me off, that and a good music score!
I cried because that poor woman was lied to and betrayed. Just given money. Her beloved work was destroyed because Disney couldn't understand this was not a kiddies book, it was in honor of her father. He didn't care. He didn't even get the message straight. Travers' father was never saved. Disney thought he was, but he was killed again.
