Diddy's mentor was LA Reid. They all knew how to make money off their artist.
shareDiddy screwed over alot of his artists for real. It hurt my heart when DK was disbanded. I believe Diddy and Pebbles wanted fame and fortune for their groups but not without them making sure their backyard was in a perfection position....profiting off of their artists...
I already survived you once, you smug Son of a Bitch. Question: Will you survive me?
I would guess so.
shareOnly differnce is he's obviously better at it, seeing as how he's super rich. Its amazing that anybody would still sign with Diddy. Its all about him, he's a dispicable human being. Pebbles is like him, but doesn't have much to show for it
shareI guess Suge was right about him all in front of the camra, all in the video, danceing.
Your nobody until somebody kills you.
Lol, I remember when Suge Knight said that at theeee..what was it? The Source Awards, boy, those awards used to be soooo ghetto. While he spoke the truth about Diddy acting like a clown in all his protege's video's, Suge Knight is just as shady as the rest of them.

I remember that clip of Suge Knight saying that and at the time I'm sure people thought he was just hatin'. Guess he was right but I always thought that Diddy was just a Notorious hustler. According to him he had a paper route at 13 making $500 a week. I guess he just never looked back.
I guess that is the bad side of making it in America. Stepping and screwing over people to get where YOU need to be.
Your nobody until somebody kills you.
I remember back then in the 90s with all the beef. I was actually routing for Puff Daddy. I love 2pac I was and still am a big Tupbac fan I just wish he wasn't under the influence of Suge Knight. Suge Knight seem like he was somewhat of a sneaky crook.
To the person that mentioned Faith Evans memoir book I have that book and I read it and some things she said about Puffy and how he tried to screw her over was really messed up. Behind LaFace records Bad Boy was my 2nd favorite record label I kept up with them I used to always go to their site and could tell you the artists that was on the label and everything. Puff had so much talent on his label he threw them all away, I hated that Total didn't have much success anymore after their 2nd album they could have been much more bigger than they were. Faith Evans I'm really thankful she had a great amount of success along with 112 also.
I think So So Def was and is a great label you don't hear much about Jermaine Dupri screwing any of his artist over it was like he allowed them to do their own thing. I used to think TLC was apart of So So Def.
They would have been better with So So Def.
Your nobody until somebody kills you.
I'll say. Are they still signed to LaFace Records? Do LaFace records even exist anymore I stopped keeping up with record labels after 2004. There are so many independent labels now I don't think Usher albums come out on LaFace records anymore.
