After all thoes Vh1 documentaries on TLC,and they still got it wrong??

I watched the TLC: Behind the music, and " Last days if Left Eye"
and thought " these documentaries explored there lives more better than the movie.

Especially The last days of left eye. Like Lisa's abusive relationship, that should have been a true Highlight of the film. I know the wanted a 2hour film. But this should have been a mini series. a 3 night special.
I liked the movie at first but after re watching it, I see it was very rushed with half assed storylines.
And that's what hurt the film. I still like it but not as much as when I first saw it.

With the movie being 2 1/2 hours long, they could only put in so much. The main focus was the group as a whole, with a little bit of each of their lives outside TLC. Maybe T-Boz & Chilli didn't want to go too deep into their personal lives in the movie. I think if they did, it would have to be connected to the group in some way.

That's why it should have been a mini series. The Jackson 5, and temptation film worked so well because they didn't try to cram everything into 2hours it was like a weekly event.

Like I said, maybe T-Boz & Chilli didn't want a mini-series. Also, TLC haven't been in the business as long as The Temptations & The Jackson 5 and they didn't accomplish as much as them either. They've been in the business longer than the TLC members have been alive.

I agree, I just thought 2 hours kind of rushed the story.

t-boz and chili didn't involve Lisa's family in the making of the movie

So A lot of stuff was inaccurate especially with the 'creep' video shoot.

I agree that the movie should have been a mini series like the Jackson 5 and Temptations. Doesn't matter if they were around longer than TLC or not. I feel alot more could have been explained if it was a mini series.
