Just saw Pebbles interview on Wendy Williams

She couldn't say much due to "confidentiality agreements" but she did say she believed Chili was sleeping with her husband L. A. Reid behind her back and she never caught them like the rumors say. She also said it was Tboz and Left Eye who kicked Chili out of the group for sleeping with Dallas not her. And to top it off Vh1 recently sent her something stating that the movie wasn't a true story even though they marketed it as one.

All that being said I've come to the conclusion that Pebbles, Tboz and Chili are all full of it. Neither of them are telling the full story and I don't think we'll ever know the true story.

This is why you have to take biopics with a grain of salt because 90% of what you're seeing is either a lie or a twisted, exaggerated form of the truth. It was an interesting movie though..lol

Most of the biopics are full of it. You have to take into account who's telling the story also.

If I should fall asleep and death takes me away don't be surprised son, I wasn't put here to stay.

That interview did no help. Not for Pebbles reputation nor with REAL information concerning TLC's problems. Pebbles just talked in circles, kept using air quotes, and she would say "confidentiality" whenever she wanted to avoid answering deeper questions, which makes me think she's lying somewhat.

Though I do believe that Pebbles did not deserve all of the blame. There were definitely more people involved in ripping TLC off, but as their manager and mentor, she for sure deserves that heat. I also think that she's telling the truth about Chilli and L.A. That's not the first time I've hear that rumor, and hell I'm only 20. Chilli does come off as promiscuous one, especially watching some of their interviews. I also could see Tionne and Lisa trying to replace Chilli. If they kicked the original girl, who founded the group and were friends with out, I don't see why it wouldn't happen to Chilli.

Honestly if you combine most of what TLC has said and some of what Pebbles said added with a few quiet insiders you'd have the truth and full story.

Personally I thought the interview made Pebbles come off even worse than the movie did. Her supposed story had an air of inauthenticity to it. Every time Wendy asked her a hard question she would hide behind "confidentiality agreement" or an incredibly lame excuse like "I'm a mother" She refused to answer a single question honestly and talked in circles. If there was a confidentiality agreement then why are Tboz and Chilli allowed to speak on it and and why did Pebbles speak about it in the first TLC Behind The Music special? The confidentiality agreement had already been signed at that point. She's lying!

TLC first spoke about their woes in 1996 and in 17 years that story has remained consistent. They have never wavered from the truth, not one of them. If it were a lie why didn't Pebbles speak about this before? TLC has not stopped telling their story in 17 years. The problem is that the movie has now been memorialized on film and exposed to a new generation and everyone came at her on twitter and she got seriously butthurt. The real truth of the matter is Pebbles wants money and wants people to buy her book. She stole from those girls that trusted her and she refuses to admit the truth to even herself. Who would let this conniving woman minister to them?

Oh and her daughter is incredibly classless. Too damn old to be acting so damn young. i

Wait TLC got rid of Pebbles before they started recording CSC. CSC sells 10 million albums and they don't get paid and they say Pebbles took all the money? I never got that.

That bogus contract that they signed said that even if Pebbles was no longer their manager that she still owned them and they still had to pay her a boatload of money. She got a HUGE percentage right off the top and the only reason they were able to finally get out of that contract by the time Fanmail rolled around is because LA and Arista had to pay Pebbles off. Pebbles kept saying that she recommended this attorney to TLC that had no conflict of interest but what halfway decent attorney would let their client sign a horrendous contract like that? It doesn't add up.

Go watch the BTM special. It's all in there. They even show those contracts the girls had to sign.

Just saw the interview now.

My thoughts.

The interview made the story about pebbles more believable to me

- Pebbles Hates chilli because she thinks chilli slept with Reid. We do not know when pebbles started believing this but if you suspect someone is sleeping with your husband. you damn well want to kick them out.

- When wendy asked about the $1 million per letter thing. Pebbles said confidentiality. then wendy said. "Did money have to exchange hands?" Pebbles answered YES. So i believe they did have to pay Pebbles for their name back. I do believe $1 mill per letter is exaggerated.

- When wendy asked about the cars. Pebbles said that's what They WANTEDD. then pebbles explained that she couldn't give them nicer cars because they were still a new band. So Pebbles in her own way admitted she gave them cheap cars.

- When asked about the $25 a week thing. pebbles ignored the question. my personal belief is that $25 per week was exaggerated. They probably didn't get much money but $25 per week seems too low to be believable.

She did buy them cheap cars. In an interview I think Chilli said T-Boz and Left Eye both got Pathfinders, while she got a Prelude. I'm sure the girls did WANT cars but Pebbles was wrong for getting what SHE thought they wanted, instead of just taking all 3 girls to the dealership and letting them pick out their own cars. Seriously, whether they were a new group or not, if they are PAYING for the cars then they should have been able to pick out what cars they wanted instead of Pebbles choosing for them.

I saw the interview and I believed some of what Pebbles said and I believed some of what T-Boz and Chili said. Here's what I believed about Pebbles interview:

- I believe that Chili did sleep with LA Reid. That rumor has been out there for years and where there is smoke there's fire.
- I do believe that T-Boz and Left Eye wanted Chili out of the group because she was sleeping with the Producer. She was bought into the group after the original member was let go, they had no reason not to think they couldn't move on without her
- I think that Pebbles did not get as much as they are saying she did, LA Reid, LaFace, and Clive Davis got the bank off the records

I didn't read all of the posts here...I'm just responding to your post.

This doesn't have to do with TLC but yet La Reid/BabyFace. I was told by a friend of mines, back in the days thatttttttt...Reid and Edmonds are shady. Very shady. Why ? Because my buddy was part of a singing group and he sent them a demo anddddddd LaFace records didn't respond to my friends but kept the tape and took concepts from it. So copyright and being shady is a bi--- ain't it ??

So would I believe your story of Chili sleeping with LA Reid ? No shock. Would I believe Pebbles screwed the girls out of money, welllll she's around crooked people...so why not ??
